2019 Goals: No limits. No boundaries.
5 DAYS! That’s right…we only have five more days until we are ringing in the new year. As we journey along to 2019, we all know that planning is essential. I’m sure we have experienced the side effects of the lack-of-planning and it’s not pretty. To ensure we are on top of our game for 2019, let’s get our goals together.
Here are my 5 goals for 2019:
1. Wholeheartedly say yes to God and consistently seek Him – With complete commitment and sincerity I’m saying yes to God. Yes to His will and yes to His way. Do I know what that looks like just yet? Nope not at all, but I’m leaning on Him for that understanding. 2019 will be the year that my relationship with God gets stronger as I consistently seek Him in His word, through devotions and in prayer.
2. Be consistent in all aspects of life – Consist…this is my word for the year!! Consistency is so valuable. From working out to building my brand, consistency plays a major role in it all. 2019 will be the year that I’m all in and I’m consistent in the areas of building me.
3. Save more, spend less – One day a took a look at my bank statement and literally all my money was in my stomach lol I eat out wayyy to much and amazon prime is one of my best friends. Well that’s all about to change. I’m thinking about my legacy now and they will never know the taste of that salmon from Texas Roadhouse that I love. 2019 will be the year that I’m more financially responsible and take steps to build my legacy.
4. Say yes to new experiences – New experiences can be anything from traveling abroad to completing a certification and I’m saying yes to all of them. So many times I’ve shied away from new things because of my own thoughts and sometimes even the words of others. Well that stops now. 2019 will be the year I say yes to new experiences and have the confidence to do to so consistently. Just do it…even when I’m scared.
5. Believe in Me – This year has taught me the importance of having true self confidence. I didn’t know I had an issue with this until it literally hit me in the face. Luckily I’ve been transforming myself and changing my mindset to see me as God sees me. Knowing that all I need is within me fuels me to greater heights. 2019 will be the year that I believe in me 100%. No more pity parties, no more moping around, no more feeling sorry for myself…it all stops. I won’t be cocky, but I sure will be confident.
SET GOALS THAT EXCITE YOU AND SCARE YOU AT THE SAME TIME.
A few nights ago I was laying down thinking of my goals and a song filled my spirt. This song resonated with me and it was at that moment I realized my theme for 2019.
“No limits, no boundaries. I see increase all around me. Stretch forth, break forth I see increase…enlarge my territory.”
If you haven’t taken the time to really think about what this year taught you and your goals for next year, I challenge you to do so within the next couple days. Look introspectively and really see what worked and what needs improvement. You will truly thank your self later.
While writing these goals, take a moment to think about your GOAL FRIENDS! What are goal friends?? Goal friends are those who will hold you accountable and help push you to purpose. Goal friends are the ones that you can cry with, laugh with and pray with. Goal friends support you without you even having to ask. Goal friends are very valuable and play an important role. They will help you celebrate and even pick you up when you’re down. Identify them quick and let them know their new title. They will be happy you chose them to take this ride with you J
I’m ready for everything that 2019 has to offer, are you?
I know this will be the year that things SHIFT in a major way.
Be Blessed. Be Bold. BeYOUtiful.
