Lash Wars: Strips vs Extensions

Let’s start today’s conversation with a fact…LASHES ARE AMAZING. When you add lashes to ANY look, they take things to new levels🔝They are a true necessity❗

To put the cherry on top of this already amazing sundae, we have options!! Who doesn’t love options?!?! 👀 We have clusters, magnetic strips, regular strips and lash extensions. My experiences have been with the latter two. But the recent craze has been about Lash Extensions and let me just say they are truly fantabulous  🙌🏾.

My journey began about three years ago around my 25th birthday. One of my best friends from college had just began her lash business, she introduced me to the lash game and I haven’t been the same since. I’ll never forget my first experience with the illustrious VIE LASHES. But before I even got to the lash bed, I had my reservations. ⚠ These are my lashes, which are close to my eyes and I wear contacts — It got real emotional real fast! I was reading articles and even had people trying to psych me out, but Jasmine didn’t take “NO” for an answer (if you know her, you know exactly what I mean 😂). All in all, I know she just wanted me to slay for my birthday – that’s what friends are for!!! 

I know you’re wondering, what’s the difference and why are lash extensions so amazing? Well I have an answer! ✨You wake up on FLEEK✨ I’ve had so many fresh face days because of my lash extensions, which is a win-win for me and my skin! ☺ 

In all fairness, both strips and extensions have their own pros & cons and below is an adequate representation from my personal experiences with both. 

So who is the winner?!?! *drum roll please* 

You be the judge! 

Everyone is different and prefers one over the other, but I will say — don’t knock it, until you try it!!! Bottom line…just love yourself and have fun…ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE & MAKEUP💄
