Friday Favorites: Top 3 Foundations for WOC

This week flew by or maybe it’s just me since I worked from home one day🤷🏾‍♀️

Nonetheless, I’m starting something new today on this amazing Friday! *drum roll please*

✨FRIDAY FAVORITES✨

Friday Favorites will highlight some of my favorite items relating to beauty, fashion and all things in between…so basically everything😁 I have a lot of favorites…so get ready! Lol

We are going to start the series with 💄 MAKEUP! I LOVE MAKEUP! It’s all my  mom’s fault ☺️ I remember I got my eyebrows done freshman year of high school for the first time and that was the start of something major. The beauty doors opened wide for me to 🏃🏽‍♀️ run in and I DID! The love is real, we go way back lol.

Today I want to focus on a topic that’s a major part of an amazing look and that’s FOUNDATION. Foundation can be kind of tricky. From undertones to matte vs dewy to light to medium coverage *mind blown*…you can literally go crazy 😜 or spend a bunch of money trying to find the right product for you.

Now, I’m no MUA (Let me put that disclaimer out there!), but based on my experiences, here are MY TOP 3 FAVORITE FOUNDATIONS FOR WOC:

         3️⃣ MAC Studio Fix Fluid – This is the OG. I literally started here and it hasn’t failed me yet. I remember going to the MAC counters to get my makeup done for prom numerous times. The coverage and finish are amazing and they have a lot of shade ranges. $30

         2️⃣ Teint Idole Ultra Wear – Ever since I watched Aunt Jackie’s review on this foundation, I’ve been in love. I was hesitant because of the price tag, but it matches wonderfully and has a beautiful finish as well. $47

         1️⃣ Too Faced Born This Way – Now this takes the cake!! Being endorsed by Aunt Jackie, (I was already sold) but I still had to try it myself. I think I got a sample, wore it a day and literally went and bought the full size within days. This foundation is EVERYTHING. The consistency, coverage, and finish are spot on.  $39
