For Such A Time As This: You Got This

🌟Bliss!🌟 That’s been my state of mind lately. Bliss is defined as perfect happiness; great joy! Now nothing is perfect, but the feeling of knowing that God truly has me in His hands brings a great joy like no other. 

Sunday’s for me are meant for relaxation and reflection and as I was driving and talking on the phone tears literally filled my eyes as I thought of His Grace 🙌🏾 I remember it was a time where I truly thought God had forgot about me 😩 I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. I was going to church and serving and doing everything I was “supposed” to do, but I still felt alone. It wasn’t until I truly stopped thinking and just observed and realized that everything was truly working out for me. 😭

The relationships I was making, the doors I was walking in, the discussions I was having…they all seemed like normal every day things, but when I took my time to think about it all…my mind was literally blown away. ✨Like me, He thought of me! ✨

Weeks prior the the weekly sermons at church were focused on purpose. Purpose is a thing we all long for! To know what we are called to do is prevalent in this day and age. Have you ever thought, “For Such A Time As This!”. We hear this saying all the time and probably even say it, but have you really let it sink in? We are this age, in this city, at this job, attending this church, in these relationships…on purpose! We were made for THIS!! We could’ve been born during any time, but we are here NOW. As “normal” as that sounds, it’s bigger than that. What are you going to do in your NOW? 

We were created for greatness…to walk this Earth and make a difference in the areas that we have influence. It may not be a grand assignment seen by the world, but it doesn’t diminish your importance. It’s your assignment…YOUR PURPOSE…so live it out! 

I’m not even going to lie and say that I know my purpose because I don’t ☺️ but I do know that He’s working things out for my good. I’m making myself available to truly hear Him and feel His presence. During my journey of discovering what’s next for me, I’m grinding. I’m actually doing the things that I want for my life and not soaking in sadness. If He has other plans for me then I’ll adjust but I’ll no longer sit and just wait. It’s grind time THIS season. 

TIP: Make sure you and your circle are in THIS season together! The conversations you have can either fuel or weaken your fire. I’m not saying every conversation is going to be churchy and spiritual, but it’s the ones where you are talking about your daily walk that you see God really moving. My circle is amazing ❤️ We get each other. We understand that sharing is caring and although things may not always look good we encourage each other through those times and that makes all the difference. Allow God to use you to touch the life of someone else, you never know what someone needs to hear ☺️ 

On this Monday morning, I’ll leave you with this final thought: LIVE OUT LOUD. We are here for a reason, for such a time as this! You’ve never been here before nor will you ever be in this exact moment ever again so OWN IT! We were made for THIS and it’s time to walk in THIS on PURPOSE 💛 

Know that you are not alone. Everyone is dealing with something no matter how good they may look on the outside. The only difference is where your strength lies. He’s the ultimate source and with Him all things are possible.
